Vibe was working to incorporate more hip-hop imagery and content without losing its glossy look and feel. Blaze’s mission was to document the key elements of hip-hop culture. I worked closely with photo editor George Pitts in the studio demoing various fundamentals in lighting and darkroom printing. I assisted in first round selects, reviews and final proofing for both Vibe and Blaze publications.
