Citygrow: Bronx & Brooklyn Hydro

After a decade-long drug epidemic, Brooklyn and The Bronx had become food deserts. We knew that hydroponics and rooftop gardening were ways to provide our community with the tools & resources necessary to grow their own food & medicine. We made growing in the city our family business.

 To bridge the gap, we partnered with local leaders to create a community health program aimed at revitalizing Bruckner ave. through food justice and neighborhood policing.

 At the the time there was little understanding of urban farming and zero tolerance for all things associated with cannabis in NYC .
